The surface of the ball is textured with grooves, a technology developed by Adidas called GripnGroove that is intended to improve the ball's aerodynamics and has anybody noticed players slipping and sliding too many times in this terrain and the ball bouncing a bit higher then the players anticipate. don't know if its the ball of the field.
