Finally the much awaited Ravanan movie is going to be released. Here is the trailer. The same movie is getting made in Hindi as well Ravan (loses the 'n' in the end) Ravanan is the bad guy of the Hindu epic Ramayanam. But in the version of Ramayanam taught by mother Ravanan is a very important character. For some reason, Ravanan was portrayed as a very interesting multi dimensional character. To be honest I always thought Rama (the good guy in Ramayanam) was boring and at times with a very questionable judgment, totally not worthy of such worship. Any way, I am extremely curious to see Mr. Mani Rathnam's rendition of this anti-hero. I am not a big fan of Abhishek Bachhan and I am super duper curious to see how Mani has taken the movie with Vikram! PS: I am secretly wishing to see Hanuman in the movie.
