Slowly slowly the enemy crept in,
silently, unhurriedly, intensely.

pitiably pitiably the victim caved in,
inadvertently, nonviolently, forgivingly.

Swiftly swiftly the champion stepped in,
passionately, emotively, humanely.

Vigilantly vigilantly the enemy waited for mistakes,
disastrously,despicably,desparately.

confidingly confidingly the victim held up,
innocently, emphatically, confidently.

Patiently patiently, the champion watched for cues,
Vigilantly, persistantly, cheerfully.

The silent war deepended,
The Enemy and the Champion counterstriked,
The Victim remained unobserved.

Finally,

The enemy surrendered,
The victim smiled,
The Champion started out for an another war of silence!
