never fear CTC is here,
A 2 day trekk is planned on the mountains of Ophir in Gunung Ledang. ohor State is one of the highest peaks in Malaysia with an elevation of 1276Meters.
The trekking spot is located in the border of Johor and Melaka States of Peninsular Malaysia

COST: Always in our treks, we share all the expenses among the participants. For now approximately, it should be 150 to 200 Malaysian Ringgits (Approximately 62 to 83 SGD). This includes bus tickets, food, taxi, guide fee (150 Ringgits per group), any other local fee or tax, campsite fee, etc. So a max of 100SGD for a great and unforgettable weekend trek.
SUMMARY OF THE TREK:
Dec 4 - saturday
6.00am: Start from Woodlands checkpoint
7.30am: Reach Larkin bus stand @ Johor Bahru, have breakfast and start purchasing some fresh fruits and snacks
8.30am: Take the first bus to Tangkak (via Muar)
12.00pm: Reach Tangkak
12.45pm: Reach the basecamp at Mount Ophir and start enquire about the guide
1.30pm: Freshen up, Have lunch, Hire guide (which is a mandatory in this forest) and start the trek
7.30pm: Targetted time to reach the top
8.30pm: Buffer time added (in regards to first timers) + For spending Time in the waterfalls (midway of trek)
Start preparing for camping, campfire and barbeque (if possible), night walk (for those who are interested) and stay overnight in the summit
Dec 5 - Sunday
5.30am: Wake up and get ready for sunrise photography
7.30am: Pack up the things and clean the area where we did camp
8.30am: Start Descending (either Via Tangkak route or Segamat route) depending upon our guides instructions
12.00pm: Reach basecamp
12.30am: Start relaxing in the streams there, some swimming and diving activities there
3.00pm: Have lunch and packup for leaving from basecamp
4.00pm: Reach the nearest town (Tangkak/Segamat) and take bus to Johor
9.00pm: Reach Johor Bahru
10.00pm: Reach Woodlands and disperse
