I do not think corruption can be completely removed from society. As long as people exists, there will be corruption. But I think it is possible to reduce corruption by having checks and balances in the government.
I think simple changes to the constitution can reduce the effect corruption in the immediate future and eradicate corruption in the long term.
My first idea is
1. Limit the position of Prime minister, Chief Minister to 2 elected terms.
2. Execute the Right to information act. This act could bring about the full extent of corruption in our system.
3. Make simple laws that are intuitive. Remove archane British laws. For example, there are hundreds of traffic signs that is really hard to understand. Why not pay a lot of attention to a few simple traffic rules and put all the effort on executing the few rules?
(like drunk driving + speeding)
More suggestions please.
