If you think green tea is some special kinda tea your wrong. That was the impression I was under until I found out its same as your regular black tea except for the fact it unprocessed.
The tea leaves of camellia sinensis undergo various stages of treatment before its packed into little boxes and consumed.
green tea is dried but its not fermented like the regular tea and because of that it retains most of its natural essence that makes you more healthy when you take a sip.
and how do you take it.. with milk?
its a big NOO its common knowledge that green tea is not taken with milk but the fact that green tea is also a regular tea.
The NO milk argument is also valid for your regular black tea, just because it processed more does not mean it does not have any health benefits.
Tea in all.. are known to reduce the risk of heart diseases and adding milk or in medical terms adding protein to tea drastically reduces our bodies ability to effectively absorb catechin the good part of the tea.
so its best to take any tea as is.. without adding milk.
and what about sugar.... again a NO because it causes a spike in blood sugar levels even hypoglycemia. But unprocessed honey is preferable. but beware of the honey that we get in the store they would be pasteurized so its no good. you need to get something which is more raw and unprocessed.
