The whole Earth might get hit by a solar tsunami in the year 2012. The sun could have massive explosions on its surface and through very highly charged solar dust into space.

Last time it happened in 1851, all the telegraph lines across the world came down. If it happened now it could wipe out all satellites and the power grid.

How do we survive that?
